Mason Jar Die Cuts

Check out these cute little mason jar die cuts! They’d be great for creating gift tags, a spring banner, or to use on scrapbook pages and handmade cards. They measure approximately 3″H x 1.5″W, and come in 5 different shades of yellow and orange card stock paper, 6 of each color.  Also, they each have a coordinating lid which come detached from the jars, allowing you to mix and match lid colors with mason jars for more variety! This 30 pack of jars and lids is available at my CraftyCanadaStudio Etsy...

Strawberry Treat Holder SVG

This is a strawberry treat holder svg I found at svgcuts.  It measures approximately 3″ long x 2.5″ wide.  The top comes off so you can fill it with Valentine’s Day goodies. I cut it out with my Cricut Explore.  I can’t remember if the svg would open already to size, ready for cutting, with my Cricut Expression (because I could use the SCAL program with that), but you can still cut these SVG’s out with the Explore, you just have to size them yourself, which can be tricky.  I just sized the top of my strawberry a bit bigger than my...

Kids Canada Day Craft Idea

I wanted to create a quick Canada Day craft that might be fun for kids to do, so I settled on a pinwheel.  I used products that I had around the house already, and didn’t even need to use my Cricut or Cuttlebug machines!  Instead I used a piece of white paper, a scewer stick (a pencil or other small stick would work too), a bendy straw, a brad, a 1″ circle cut from paper or cardstock, and some scotch tape.  I used a regular piece of printer paper to show an easy way to cut your paper into a perfect square.  If you notice in the picture my paper has been...

Fall Harvest Kit

The weather is getting a bit cooler and I noticed yesterday that some of the trees are starting to change color already.  That can mean one thing…fall is on it’s way.  I love everything about fall, the colors, the cooler weather, being able to wear comfy sweaters, and it’s the perfect time to start in on those autumn crafts. I’ve created a new HARVEST kit that includes everything you need to make your own fall decoration.  It includes 7 unfinished wood blocks in staggered sizes of 5.5″, 4.5″, and 4″.  It also comes with paper...

Birthday Banners

It was my son’s birthday yesterday and I got to put up the Happy Birthday banner I made for him the year before.  I also made a banner with his name that I strung across the fireplace.  I put ribbon coils between each letter and it looked really good.  I also hung ribbon coils from the ceiling (just with some scotch tape) and scattered balloons all over the floor.  My kids love it when I decorate for their birthdays. My other son will be eleven in a couple of weeks and he keeps telling me he wants decorations for his birthday.  He was old enough this year that...
