Owl Bookends

Here’s my newest set of owl bookends that I started yesterday.  I painted them pink and tan, and covered them with orange, green, and pink papers.  I painted the bookends a really light icy blue, pink for the edges, and white for the outside.  I also added flowers and hearts to the bookends and some little silver gems at the bottom corner of each one.  The eyes also have little gems in them just for some added sparkle. Love and Nature Bookends

I just finished a set of bookends I did for a customer to match her daughter’s bedroom set.  I found that these bookends match the Love and Nature bedding collection available at Target (I’m not sure if this is the bedding set my customer has as I went by photos she sent me).  The set is really cute with owls, birds and hedgehogs. Things I’ve Been Working On

So I continue to be a little unmotivated this week.  I was hoping to get a new cartridge for my Xyron machine, but never did.  Then my blade broke on my saw so I still have to get a new one.  I figured I would post photos of what I have done so far, even though the projects aren’t yet complete.
