Birthday Banners

It was my son’s birthday yesterday and I got to put up the Happy Birthday banner I made for him the year before.  I also made a banner with his name that I strung across the fireplace.  I put ribbon coils between each letter and it looked really good.  I also hung ribbon coils from the ceiling (just with some scotch tape) and scattered balloons all over the floor.  My kids love it when I decorate for their birthdays. New Photos and New Projects

Also, I’ve been putting my new saws to work!  I made a name block for my sons room yesterday.  It has a skull on top that I cut out with my band saw and scroll saw, and the block below reads Travis’s Room over the word CAUTION.  It looks good on his shelf and he really likes it, so I’m happy. Today I’m going to work on a set of book ends.  I’ve already cut out...
